I think if they are going to close water street, they should be responsible for having a traffic cop at the next two lights to see that traffic can get through to McKean St. and keep moving out of town and across the bridge. Better yet, make S. Jefferson a two way with a traffic person at the corner of Nolte making sure people stay right and allow that traffic to move on through. How hard is that?
I'm all for events in town, but it' not helping any business and it's actually hurting some especially with traffic.
Let's use our heads here and plan accordingly!
