We went immediately to Bluff Street over looking the bridge, Kittanning, and the river. My wife kept saying "This is beautiful, I want to live here!" and "Why did your fmaily move from here?" We spent a day looking aorund, visiting the old neighborhood and even talking to some neighbors who remembered us. As I got more and more excited about showing her places from my memory and past, she simply said with a smile "Gary, your roots are showing" and they were! We came back the next weekend and visited some more. We loved it!

Gary-great to know you came back to see your roots. I was born in Kttng in 1960 &moved away after grad from KHS in '77. I m now living in Atlanta but Ktng will ALWAYS be my home.
