: : 7. A) "...not feasible to do so" referred to the construction of the new school.
: Rearic was one of eight candidates when they needed to fill former director Bower's empty seat (now occupied by Cindy Calarie). During the interview, seven of the candidates said they found out about the position from the newspaper or whatever. Jim Rearic admitted that he found out about the position from Tim Ashe. A question was asked to the candidates as to if they felt having four high schools in a district over 400 square miles was a positive or negative. The other seven candidates stated that they would need to study the information and that was too big of a decision to give an answer on without learning more. Mr. Rearic was the ONLY ONE to come right out and say he felt it was a definite negative. He then went on to talk about Quad A sports among other things. When it was time to vote, some of the directors said there were several good candidates and they would like time to think about their decision. Rupp, Close, and Ashe voted immediately for Rearic. Rearic and Choncek went to high school together. You really think this is all just a coincidence?
It's nice to see somebody that actually sees the hidden (actually not) agenda of these people.
Jimmy was a jock in school. Now he figures that if they consolidate the schools, his boy will be on a better team and get more recognition.
It really bothers me when people bring up sports as an issue in this mess.
Yes, Rearic, Choncek and Nortrup are puppets for consolidation. You could see that from day one. It was even more apparent when "asd-news" was telling people to vote for these guys.
The only thing including Choncek and Rearic in those ads did was expose them as pure consolidationists. Both of them were trying to give an illusion that they still had an open mind on the subject. Then along came this asd-news ad. I just wonder if they "approved" that message. If so, this shows a lack of judgement on both their parts.
Now their facade of open-mindedness is torn down.
