I am equally sure that the person defending the politicians has lied. I know I have lied, and if you're reading this I am sure you have lied too. I'm not saying we should condone it or allow it to go unpunished when it is exposed. I would suggest that maybe we try not holding anyone to a standard that is unatainable by anyone and then focus on the real issues and how they are being handled by individuals.

I'm not a defeatest my any sense! I am however a realist. We are all human. That is all I'm saying. Yes we should be able to expect the truth. Yes some people are more apt to lie more often than others. The fact still remains that not one of us is perfect. Sying you don't lie and you never have is in and of itself a lie. I can't possibly trust someone who tells me that especially if they actually have themsleves believing it!
