I would like to hold this Message Board to higher standards. Re the DUI, how many of us watch over our friends at parties to make sure they don't drink and drive? I stop drinking early or never start, but re others, I'm guilty of not caring enough.
Re wife beating, I was tempted to punch my ex-wife a few times but never did. I tried to find other ways to get her attention. Ultimately, the only thing that worked was divorce papers and that was after 2-3 years of couples counseling that I initiated.
Re wife beating and Armstrong County, I think too many people, especially men and weak women, accept it as the man's right as head of the family. There are better ways to handle situations besides physical fighting. Can we have ideas posted here for phone numbers to call?

: Someone mentioned holding judges and police to a higher standard. that is more than a joke with the kittanning police. I will pose two trivia questions on the kittanning police..Which kittanning police officer was pulled over shit faced by the state police then had himself entered into the psycho ward? And my fabvorite is who is the officer who loved to beat on his wife? Try putting these two up to higher standards.
