: : Personally I wonder just what makes a good judge? Does it matter if they finish a previous job? Does it matter if they booze? Does it matter if their husband cheats? In just my own personal opinion, I would never vote for a former defense attorney as a judge. A defense attorney can and will do anything they can to get someone out of trouble even if they know damn well they are guilty. How often do you see a defense attorney turn down a case? You can not tell me that when they are arguing for a murderer that was proven by all reasonable standards to be guilty, that they are doing what they feel is right. So who among the candidates was not a defense attorney? That is the individual I would vote for. A guy who has given their time to enforcing laws. not someone who sells out to the highest bidding defense attorney. But again that is just my opinion. If someone can tell me which candidate was not a defense attorney, that is the guy i woill vote for.
: I guess you're not voting for anybody, because they all either do or have done criminal defense.
I know that is the question. i think i am going to back Owen because he actually has some experience. I did not see any of the lawyers trying to be a magistrate or at least show an interest in upholding laws rather than just trying to get around them.
