A VOTE FOR CINDY CALARIE IS A VOTE WELL SPENT
I believe that Cindy Calarie, a tough, fair, compassionate, experienced attorney and District Attorney would be the greatest asset to the bench of the Court of
Common Pleas of Armstrong.
Many voters do not know the history of this strong woman and the experiences and struggles she has faced that would only add to her effectiveness as Judge.
After graduating Law School, Cindy was partner in the Law Firm of Calarie & Owen, being partners with then husband Lee Calarie and candidate James Owen. After Lee Calarie’s infidelity with Cindy’s secretary at the public defenders office, a nasty divorce ensued which not only caused Cindy heartbreak and embarrassment, but forced her to leave her practice at Calarie & Owen as well as the public defenders office. She had to start anew on her own with her career as well as being a single mother to their daughter.
Mr. Calarie has previously written to the local publications pledging his support of Mr. Owen, his law partner. This is a self-serving attempt to promote his partner while bashing his ex-wife. It certainly does not say much for Mr. Owen if he chooses to align himself with someone of such immoral character.
Cindy Calarie road signs have been removed as well as letters sent to former clients if Cindy’s. These types of childish actions certainly do not show the integrity that needs to be on the bench deciding the fate of criminals and matters affecting the lives of the county citizens.
It is this type of experience along with many others that has strengthened Cindy’s character and made her a better person and given her impeccable skills as a jurist.
This year is an historical event in Armstrong County as Cindy is the first woman to run for Judge. She has not promoted this fact as feels that her experience, education and knowledge is not confined to gender and that she will provide impartial leadership to all.
If you want someone who has 20 years legal experience in all aspects of the law as well as decades of real life experiences and bumps along the road that build dedicated resolve, then a Vote for Cindy Calarie is a vote well spent .
