It does sound like you are very angry with "Jim". I am a former resident, so I don't know Jim, but I do know that if you can get a small group of very motivated people together to form a coalition for change, you can accomplish it. Change takes time, change takes money, but mostly, change takes hard work and a willingness not to give up on it. It would be great to see that powerful anger turned into a positive force for changing the things you dislike so much.
I too would love to Kittanning rejuvenated and I would even be willing to participate in the work it takes to do so. I am not local now, but I return during the summers and I know I could help if you want me on your team.
That is one person to join your committee for positive change. I bet you could find many more members. Then you can move forward and effect the changes you want to see.
