I worked at Carson Industries from 92-96 .. we made pewter-looking
dishes, mugs and novelty items .. many with custom cresting and other
artwork.

Anything developed along the colonial/historic theme would benefit
GREATly by the authentic LOOK of the the Carson line.

I am sure there are many other local artisans and/or companies that
would benefit from increased exposure that would result in expanding the
Folk Festival idea to an all year attraction.

I LOVE the fantasy camp idea as well .. spend a week in the woods of
1700's .. paintball muskets and all !! .. I wonder if ya can tape a
paintball to the end of an arrow shaft ??

I lived in Wythe County Virginia for a year .. they had a reconstructed
Indian Village with a museum .. you walked from tee-pee to tee-pee (wigwam-
wigwam) and saw how the natives cooked, played and lived day-to-day .. it
was educational, historic, interesting and cool as hell !!

We could have taverns, shops, the old stronghold .. work in Blanket Hill
story .. the river traffic (rafts, long-boats, barges) .. our areas
industrial history (glass, beer)

Who has connections to get us an official Committee Status ??
