I saw your question about Willie Nelson living in Tarrtown. My Dad was born and raised in Tarrtown, but does not recall there being any Nelson family living there. He does know that some family members such Smicks
(probably misspelled) were orginally from West Virginia and were connected to Radio country singing groups. I myself have only one memory when I was growing up about some visitors we had to our little town that were reported to be radio singers of Kentucky Blue Grass type songs.I just can't remember who the people were or who they came to visit.I dought it
was Willie Nelson but maybe some of his relatives.I can even remember where the house was they were visiting but can not remember their names.My Dad said that the house I remember them comming to was taken down many
years ago. Sorry I have not been able to provide any facts such some vague memories that probably don't apply.
