: my point is I got users ip address and think some of these people that want to be so out spoken, then have the balls to stand up and admit who you are instead of hiding behind a keyboard. Cowards that is all for the most part that comes on here. There are some good people and no need to give there name but if you are going to trash someone and have such a strong opinion then don't be such a fuc*ing pussy, to share with that person(s) what your problem is with them.

: so my point is, I will be sharing with others an ip address of those who want to talk trash about someone.

:
: : So what's your point? Obviously you've got the password to get into the root directory of the web board. So, you are either Carl or Carl has given you access.

: : The so-called "trash talk" is simply hot debate, in my opinion, and does not violate the TOS. If the point of this board is to have discussions about the weather, pretty flowers, and how NICE everyone is, and how perfect our politicians are, as if we are all just mindless smiling sheep, then how many people do you think would participate?

: : I've noticed that it isn't until these HOT topics come up and the conversation gets HEATED, that people actually start responding to postes. Since you are so fond of doing research, how about researching that point?

: : Yes, yesterday the discussion got hot. And my gosh, look how active the board was? And you know what, in the end, the participants settled down, agreed to disagree on some points and came to agreement on other points. In my opinion, this is fun and interesting. This type of debate is also where CHANGE comes from. Change in ideas, thinking, behavior, etc. For instance, the topic of WIC somehow got pulled into the discussion of Welfare. In the end, I learned to be less critical of someone I see on WIC, since I now have met (sort of) someone who actually used it for a TEMPORARY solution. Kudos to her.

: : Anyway, my point is this: Apparently the discussion made you uncomfortable. Maybe the reason for this is because you don't like disputes, or because the subject hit a little too close to home for you, personally. I don't know. But this board can serve a purpose for BOTH sides of an issue to learn and understand WHY the other side believes or feels as they do. Understanding one another can make this a better community and isn't that one of this board's goals?

: : If this board is going to be nothing but an announcement board and a place where people go just to smile and shake hands and never really get into anything interesting, then Carl need just say the word and I'm sure most of us will stay away.

: : That's just my opinion. For what it's worth.
: : Have a nice day! :-)
~~ Whewwww!!! I think you're wrong fella. I don't see how wishing to bring a little PRIDE in to a persons life and our community is hateful or giving it a bad name. Did the thought occur to you that maybe people might be trying to motivate and some how educate the people who select "assistance" as their livelihood??? I've said it before and I'll say it again.........if you can not provide for the children then stop having them, it's as simple as that. I suppose if that means I'm full of hate to you, then you've got the problem fella, but quite frankly, I don't see the love or fairness in bringing all these kids in to the world and not providing for them properly. Children are born innocent, but guess what........they become a product of their environment. Oh yeah, by the way, real nice vocabulary fella. Enough said. ~~
