There originally was a second count of Attempted Homicide with the fetus named as the victim. In order to prove that charge the Commonwealth would have had to prove that Conner had a fully-realized intention to kill the baby. However, the facts did not bear that out -- the evidence was that she was trying to steal the baby and raise it as her own. The Information was amended to delete that second count as a matter of housekeeping in preparation for trial, as we had no evidence whatsoever to support it. Hindsight being 20/20 the second count would never have been included in the first place. But that occurred a week or two prior to trial, and was not related to Conner's decision to plead guilty so far as I know.
: : : : : : : : : : : In response to your second question, Scott Andreassi has personally tried numerous major felony cases. The homicide cases that I can name off the top of my head include Terrence Mastarone (whose drunk driving killed several members of a family in Gilpin Twp., and Mastarone's own passenger as well), and Chase Silvis (who murdered a young woman in Kittanning Borough). Those are just two high-profile cases that spring to mind. There have been other homicides, of course, but Scott and the assistants all share the workload of major cases and not-so-major cases. Many District Attorneys in other counties never try a case, and act more as administrators of the office. Not so here.

I have one question for you and would like a honest answer since you are in the know...How many criminals has the DA allowed out of jail to snitch on other criminals. And how many of these criminals have re-offended??? I am just curious because I know of one for a fact that caused several thousands of dollars of damages to innocent civilians and put dozens of peoples lives at risk. Give a honest answer Chase. Like I said I can not fault you for supporting your candidate but let's see what you will answer to this........................I think Get out of Dodge was taken to school by Chase.And as far as perps getting out of jail to rat on others happens everywhere not just in Kittanning. And as far as your facts I think your a little overboard on your numbers of peoples lives at risk. And as far as jamie o. for judge,if a higher paying job came around he would be gone in a heart beat.Chase was the only poster I ever saw on thes web sight to answer some questions so he'd have my vote for judge.P.S. I have found that things in general go much better for you when you don't spend your time and money in a bar. I prefer to drink at home or with friends.

: : Get my meds at Eckerd. And all you need to do is drive by the bars. As far as I am concerned the only decent bar in Kittanning is the Saloon. You drive by some of these bars on market street and see the folks rolling in at around say noon or so. then you watch them. I have some family that frequent the bars and they talk of the open drug use in some. Not the kinds of establishments I want to go to.
: thats just what i figured. you have absolutly no proof of your statments. hearsay from obviously incorrect sources is all you can come up with (and you say you like facts). i personally know a couple of the bar owners in town and i don't think they would be very happy with your false statements on a public message board. maybe the next time you post something derogatory about a business in town you should realize you maybe hurting someones livelihood, but i'm sure you don't care, just as long as you can try to make your lame point.
LMFAO Woody you apparently are a piece of work. Just because I do not bring myself down to the level of alot of the fine bar patrons in kittanning, does not make my opinions simply hear say. I think when I sit and have a discussion with my sisters and they tell me what goes on in the bars it gives me the right to form a opinion and that is what I have done. Twenty years ago I used to go to the bars in Kittanning..some of the fine old establishments like Bob and Babes, The Pub, the Rendevouz, Al's and the County Seat. At that time those establishments had their share of Riff Raff, maybe I should tell you what I think riff Raff is..Welfare Bums....Brawlers...Drug Addicts.. the Dregs of Society. I know some of the owners of those bars where the dregs tend to hang out and sympathize with them for trying to make a living. But if you feel you are going to sit here and tell me those bars are a nice place to go hang out with your wife and have a few drinks then you are full of crap. I never claimed the riff raff as fact...It is my Opinion. And I know opinions are like assholes everyone got one. Mine just happens to differ from your opinion.
