: : This whole case is a joke. I'm thinking this woman will get off with a lighter sentence. She should get the max. And Scott Andressi wants to be the next judge. No way.

:
: You people are idiots! She wasn't sentenced yet and she didn't get off easy.
: If you read the story in the paper today, you would see that there was a misunderstanding about the terms of the plea and that she still faces the max of 80 years in prison.
: Hell, Conner agreed to it in court, as quoted in the paper.
: She won't be formally sentenced until April 12, so quit whining about people getting off easy and getting "slaps of the wrist" until a final decision has been made.
: I am so tired of people going off half-cocked and saying that elected officials are nothing more than a joke and that there's no way they will get elected.....if people took the time to read the stories they complain about, they would know what the hell was going on.

If you would take the time to read the whole article you would also see that the minimum for her COULD be 12 yrs!! Are you kidding me? 12 yrs is no where near enough time for what she has done. Now this all depends on if the sentences run concurrent on consecutive. When is ever serving concurrent right? Why even convict someone of 4 different crimes and then let them serve the time all at once, it's no different than only being charged with one offense, right? That women knew what she was doing was wrong and needs to spend a long time behind bars to pay for what she has done!!
