This was back in July of 1999 (almost 3 years ago) and pretty much says what I am saying today. Just more proof that Kittanning IS NOT IMPROVING.
The only reason I rant is because those living in Kittanning CAN do something about the town - those of use who have left really CANNOT. I use my negative tone to try to 'rub it in' - not like salt into wounds but rather by stating it enough that people start to really look around without the rosy glow of yesteryear's glasses.
Kittanning just had a VERY positive event in the Mothman filming/release. The pride felt from this event should spur people on to make the community a better place because of it. They should NOT sit back and gloat. Because after the 15 minutes of fame, Kittanning will wilt back to being a hick town without direction.
