: : : : : : : I believe that the Taliban are back in power, I don't think we defeated them, we liberated Kabul. We didn't liberate Iraq, there is a civil war going on there. In 10-20 years we will declare victory only to have sectarian war break out again.I hate to say it but one day the U.S. will bark and China is going to bite.

: : : : : : Nobody is "back in power". We have defeated many of them and eliminated many of their top people.
: : : : : : We DID liberate Iraq....from Saddam. Unfortunately, since it is not our nature to just "take over" a country, we had to let them elect their own democratic government. Now there are people there, many funded and backed by al Queda and Iran, who wish to overthrow this government.

: : : : : : China?? Never happen. If we were to go to war with them, they'd have nobody to buy their goods. Hell, even if just Walmart quit buying from them, the'd be in serious trouble.

: : : : : : If it did happen though they'd wipe us out. Know why? Their government wouldn't be fighting against itself, they wouldn't have a liberal media and their peole would actually unite in the war effort.
: : : : : : We'd be too busy fighting with each other to fight the war.
: : : : : :

: : : : :
: : : : : This is no product of the liberal media. George W. Bush and his neocon cronies got themselves into the all by themselves. Even the GOP senators and representatives are fleeing way from him and the Radical Right. That excuse has become the excuse for everything now, since everything is falling apart. If you truly beleive the guy won the last two Presidential elections, then the liberal media is not that strong. I don't think there will ever come a day when the followers of Dubbya come to the realization what a failure this presidency was. History will show how incompetent this adminsitration was, domestically and with world affairs. We will be trying to repair this country for years to come from the disgrace we have witnessed over the last 6 years.

: : : :
: : : : Explain to me , please, exactly how "Bush and his croanies" got into this "themselves"? It seems to me I remember the vast majority of our elected officials voting FOR the invasion of Iraq.

: : : : I'm glad to see that you've decided this presidency, and the war in Iraq, are ALREADY a FAILURE. This is exactly what I'm talking about. You WANT him/us to fail.

: : : : Yes, he won BOTH elections....DESPITE the MEDIA.
: : : :

: : :
: : : Ah, another tactic used by the Dubbya supporters. If you show dissent towards this president, then you are wishing negative things on the entire country and all the other unpatriotic rhetoric they like ot use to defend this failed presidency. This is too has exhausted itself in the minds of most Americans. it does not work anymore. I am not the one that has decided these things. It is not just the pople on the street, the media and those darn liberals making these claims. Both Dems and the GOP have acknowledged that the actions of the administration are reckless. Disagreeing with the Dubbya administration does not mean that people are sirening the call of "death to America." As more and more things are uncovered, the truth comes out. Everything from the allegations of wepaons of mass destruction, the faulty intelligence, the propoganda of being greeted with flowers, the oil to fund the rebuilding proces (nation building), the fraudulent private contracts, the secretive meetings held dealing with our country's energy resources, entering a war without any real strategy, etc. The list goes on and on.

: : : As I stated before, the American public and history will have the final decision on the successes and failures of this administration, but the successes have not been documented in the liberal media or the conservative media. I have no idea what is going to change so rapidly to make us forget the last several years of incompetence.

: : I guess i had not realized how many liberals are left in Kittanning. Mind numbing it is as yoda would say. It is so easy to blame Bush for everything they just pile it on. The liberals find a drum and then beat on it. I always find it amazing that the people actually doing something never seem to have a problem with it and those who were to self serving to serve the military are the ones screaming. I don't think anyone would have suspected the religious in fighting which is causing the problems in Iraq. But I guess in hindsight like most of you found out also this is the case. Can we win? Who knows. It is up to them. But we started it and we have to see it get to the point the iraqis can deal with it themselves. The Liberals blame Bush for the faulty intelligence. But all the liberals in the Senate panels who were made privy to it also believed it. They voted for the war. It is easy to come back and say you know maybe we should not have gone. but like I say it is hindsight and real easy for them to say because the biggest part of them are hypocrits. In fact most politicians are hypocrits including Bush. That is a fact. Bush is doing what he feels is the best way of making our country safe. And so far we have been safe. And i personlly feel it is because we are keeping the terrorists busy in the middle east. Give them a little time to regroup and watch out. Yo know the funniest thing I seen on T.V. Last night was a reporter questioning Jane Fonda about the iraqis that would die if we left and allowed a full scale civil war to break out. She of course blamed the United States for that. And when presented with the facts of the millions of cambodians killed by the khmer rouge after we left the area she also blamed that on the United States. People should look at the facts before they just bark off items. I personnally feel that the United States is a safer place to live because of actions taken by the Bush Administration and I feel our economy is better than when Bush took office. There is money to be made..and unlike the liberals I do not feel the need to share mine with soeone less driven we'll say.

: Not everybody that disagrees with the man they call Dubbya is a liberal. Let's get that out of the way first and foremost.

: This was part of the brainwashing that has been going on in this country for way too long. I support some liberal values, and I support some conservative values.

: I think the last election showed that people are getting sick of both parties for the reason mentioned above. Everything has to be a liberal or conservative issue, no gray area. Dubbya came into power feeding on this with the "you are either with us or against us" mentality. People bit into this hook, line and sinker. It sounded good and it was a good cliche. After people got a taste of the way the country has been heading, many of those same people are lookign for change. They want change from having a Bush or Clinton in office for the rest of their lives.

: I think a grassroots campaign would flourish in this country if it wasn't for the financial contraints placed on people deciding to run. The Dems and GOP have basically locked other people out of the race before it even started.

: I think and hoping that we are on the verge of a new political awakening in this country. People are noticing the basic similarities fo these two parties who project themselves as being so drastically different. It is the same old band year after only a different leader.

: Some people are educating themselves and seeing through the facade of the two-party system. The only hope we may have is for new and open-minded leaders to come up through one of the parties (or even both) and challenge the people in their own parties.

: I can honestly admit that if a Dem got into this kind of mess with our military, I would sepak the same things that I am saying today. Can some of these die-hard Bush supporters do the same thing if the roles were reversed? This is where the problem lies for both sides.
: I am all for a new party. One that cares about morals and ethics. I would definitely get into something new. my only true concern with leiberalism is their share the wealth mentality . I get tired of paying my taxes and working hard to give the money to some bum who does not want to work. So i in essence could even vote for a democrat who would back off the entitlement program but we know that is not going to happen. a grass roots party could only succeed if they pulled enough conservatives because the entitlement crew is much higher in numbers and they are not gonna sell themselves down the river.
