The inspectors I’m talking about are the United Nations weapons inspectors. They were the last ones in there before we invaded Iraq. Hans Blix was the chief inspector. They found nothing. They wanted more time but Bush said no. I can give you the web site if you like. So as you can see right before Bush invaded there were weapons inspectors in Iraq searching for WMD, so your argument is simply ridiculous.
That’s not why Bush cherry picked intelligence to give to Congress and you know it. You seem stuck on the photo surveillance evidence but there was a lot more intel and he cherry picked it all. For example, he never told Congress that the evidence he had, that the CIA told him was probably bogus at worse or suspect at best.
I guess you can’t read. The reason he said this is because all old WMD were destroyed. You have to be able to put 2 and 2 together see. He didn’t find any new WMD and I’ll bet if he found evidence of old WMD he would have said so. But he didn’t.
You can repeat that we went to Iraq to rid the world of Saddam Hussein all you want, but it still doesn’t change the fact that you are wrong. The reason you and the Bush lovers don’t want to admit this is because there were no WMD so the war was for NOTHING. After 9/11 and after we invaded Afghanistan the very first mention by Bush of going into Iraq was done on Dec. 20, 2001. It was a ceremony with 2 aid workers who were rescued in Afghanistan and Bush said, “Afghanistan was just the beginning of the war, and if leaders in Iraq developed WMD that would be used to terrorize other nations they will be held accountable”. That was the very first public mention of going to war with Iraq. Do you see any reference to removing Saddam or bringing democracy to Iraq. Nope. Two weeks later on Meet the Press Cheney tried to connect Saddam to 9/11 (which we now know was another lie) and after that Judith Miller of the liberal newspaper The New York Times printed on the front page “Secret Sites. Iraqi tells of renovations of secret sites of chemical and nuclear arms”. Still no mention of going to war to remove Saddam or bringing democracy to Iraq. Your ISG even said that democracy in Iraq isn’t even an option anymore.
I’d like to know what your definition of failure is? Have we “wiped out thousands of terrorists”? Where did you get that information. Yes, we have killed some leaders of Al Qaeda but they replace them just as fast with no affect on the terrorist group, and just because you haven’t heard from Osama doesn’t mean he’s dead. I hope he is dead, but if he is you can see that hasn’t hurt Al Qaeda either. The Taliban is ready for a big summer offensive. So we haven’t stopped them either. We don’t control the country either.
You keep using those right wing buzz words. You should think for yourself instead of listening to the right wing talking heads. Nobody in this country wants the US to fail. By saying that Bush and his cronies are inept failures doesn’t mean I want us to fail, it just means Bush is an idiot. On the contrary, if Bush and his followers were not such fools, the war on terror would have been fought where it should have been fought and it would probably have been over by now. Maybe if you weren’t a cheerleader and would be a percipient you would see the difference.
Their morale would be a whole lot better if they were at home with their love ones instead of fighting a war we shouldn’t be in.
Answer this question. Bush picked the troop escalation (or was it an augmentation). Can you tell me how this troop escalation will be different than the last 2 times he escalated the troops?
Yes there is a liberal bias in the media. That Faux New is loaded with them. From Bill O’Riely to Sean Hannity and those goofs on Fox & Friends. CNN has those liberal Glenn Beck and Nancy Grace and MSNBC has Joe Scarbourgh and Tim Russert. Lets see, CBS has that liberal Katie Couric and ABC did that show called “Path to 9/11” which was so full of lies they had to edit them or get sued. The local newspapers have that liberal Pittsburgh Tribune, Valley News Dispatch and Leader Times. In case you are the idiot I think you are, the above is a joke.
