: : As opposed to people like you, who want so desparately for Bush to fail, that you are actually hoping we fail in Iraq.
: What planet are you living on?? We already DID fail in Iraq. The American people have spoken during the last election. I for one refuse to follow a leader who is WRONG. Simply being president does not mean you will be 100% right on every action. And Iraq was definitely a wrong.
How do you figure we failed? We went to Iraq becaue Saddam wasn't allowing the IAEA conduct their searches. Not because they HAD WMD's , ut because they we're not allowing the searches. After 16 resolutions, and only AFTER 9/11 did we finally decide to go in and remove him from power (which we did) and conduct the searches. This was all voted on.
So what do you think was "wrong"?
Going in?...That was voted on.
Removing Saddam?....That was the whole point of goin in.
By the way, if not finding WMD's is going to be your argumet, those 16 resolutions were over a period of 2 years, PLENTY of time for Saddam to get any WMD's he might have had OUT of Iraq.
So what exactly is it that we SHOULD be doing now?
If you're one of these who say Bush is going in the wrong directon, what direction do you think he SHOULD be going in?
All these naysayers said that we needed to have the Iraq Study Group decide what to do. They decided the thing to do is to increase troop levels. That's exactly what Bush is doing. Yet they (and YOU) are still running their mouths about how WRONG this decision is. Yet they STILL have absolutely NO ANSWERS as to what they think should be done.
All they want to do is stand back and say how wrong Bush is in order to gain political ground.
I never said being President made him 100% RIGHT on every action, but being a Republican doesn't make him 100% WRONG either.
However that seems to be the opinion of the Democrats AND the liberal media.
