It's very similar to having a friend who is a substance abuser. You really want to help but you already know how the story ends. It's a slow painful process to watch...

Thanks for providing a great example of the small town mentality that's been previously mentioned. It's sort of like saying, "I don't like what you have to say so would you please just go away and leave us alone." Great short term solution (you don't have to face the problems) but not a lot of vision for the future. Debate is one way of generating ideas. I see the situation one way, you see it differently. Together, we may be able to arrive at a great solution.

I would never bad mouth farmers. They have one fo the toughest occupations around and if you are in that industry, Kittanning is an excellent choice for 'setting up shop'. I speak of the other lines of businesses which may or may not be there in 5 years.
Now, if you would kindly agree that Kittanning could use a plan...
