I've heard him express his opinions when he was Solicitor for Kittanning Borough... his comments were concise and, in my opinion, well-thought-out and impartial. I've had him do a little bit of title work for me. The work was completed on time and fees were reasonable.

: : Do we really need a Judge. The D.A. seems to do a pretty good job plea bargaining away all the cases. maybe we should get a part time judge and save a pile of money....
: Anyone know the legal scoop on this? It's an idea and I'm all for ideas that might work... what's the next step?
Judges are state employees, not county employees. So, it wouldn't save Armstrong County money to have a part time judge. Further, the number of judges a county gets is determined by the number of cases in the county, in part. So, given the number of cases, we should probably have 3 judges, not 2 or 1. One judge, or 1 1/2 truly wouldn't be enough. (There are also civil, family, and other cases, not just criminal).
