: : I live in Worthington now so my kids already ride the bus. I would suggest the new school be built in the Kittanning Township Area. As a Teen Ager I lived in Walk Chalk and rode the bus to Kittanning. The new school was built with out the raising of taxes. You could not imagine the maintenance cost of the old North Buffalo School and East Franklin school. I wish I had the figures but I don't.If anyone has the fgures could you post them for us?
: We need a new high school- you are right, for Kittanning, Ford City and Elderton combined. Also we don't need a swimming pool. They can have a field complex, that would have a baseball, softball, football and socceer field.Most kids nowdays don't want to play sports anyhow so the main focus should be on education.

What is the concensus, at least for this board. Should there be one school with lower maint costs? Do most agree that to have one school with one gas bill, one electric bill, etc would be a good idea? I think it's a great idea, Kitt twp is fine. Lots of land, and I live there too. What's everyone's thoughts. Try to answer with sense and not degrade the post before you. It's everyone's opinion for themselves.
