I agree that the parents need to step up and educate their kids about drugs... BUT remember.. if there are no drug dealers then there are no drug problems. The police need to do their parts too. If you believe telling your kids not to do drugs will prevent it from happening when drugs are for sale everywhere, then you are just kidding yourself.
It takes a combination of parents guidance (including a foot up the ass sometimes) and decent police work to solve this problem.
