I've been doing a lot of research and recruiting interested people to get a community theater program off the ground in this area. Once I get through with the show that I am doing in Vandergrift, I am going to devote more of my attention to the project. I will be scheduling a meeting with anyone interested in helping with this project. I plan on naming the program Armstrong Community Theater (ACT). I would like to apply for non-profit status so that the program can qualify for grant money. A lot of fund raising may be necessary to get this off the ground, but the effort will be very beneficial for the community.
