Sebastian was having a problem with a couple of bullies in his new first grade class. They kept calling him 'Sebastian from under the sea with Ariel' in reference to the Little Mermaid. I don't know why, but this really bothered him even though he used to love the fact that he shared the same name as that little crab. One morning I told him, "Sebastian, you know there were Sebastians before that movie was even thought of" and played "An Air to a G String" for him. After we went through the song TWICE (apparently the kids like classical!), I told him, "That composer was very famous, his name was Johan Sebastian Bach." Sebastian looked at me and said, "That poor guy must have gotten teased a lot in school...his name is Sebastian, plus he's got a chicken sound for a last name!"
....Sebastian is my first of two grandsons, sharp guy!
