They are now charging the campers over 3x's what they charged when they first "took over" the campground.
Just this year, the cost almost doubled from what it was last year.
The only reason for charging so much more is to provide more funds for the trail project. They sure aren't putting that much money back into the campsites. There is no overhead involved for the sites. The campers even have to provide $500K liability insurance on their sites.
