so you're saying that you think it's ok for a mom to shuck her responsibilities at home to get her kids "toys"??? WHY is it that children run the homes in WAY TOO MANY homes!! Geez I am so sick of that! Johnny wants this or Mary wants that so we just HAVE to get it for her. Meanwhile the parents struggle to pay for the second car and insurance,etc. and the kids get the toys but miss mom. What a swap! And as for the women being "made" to feel unappreciated, etc. that woman has her own mind and if she chooses to sell out to get her kids "stuff" then she'll reap what she sows. She'll probably have children who resent the hell out of her for working for their ipods while they are latchkey kids.
