Johnstown DID have a movie filmed there (at least partially) - with none other than PAUL NEWMAN!!
For those who may not recall, I'm talking about the greatest hockey movie (and perhaps THE greatest and most hilarious movie) ever, Slapshot, the story of the Charlestown (aka Johnstown) Chiefs playing at the War Memorial!!
Paul Newman playing hockey - what more could you ask for!! :)
