Without the cast, there would have been no reason for the crew to be in town. Without the set-builders who did a GREAT job in faking steel bridge girders and columns (I walked right past the plywood versions and thought the rust and rivets were REAL). Thanks to the set-up guys and gals who explained equipment used in special effects.. the rigs that allow cars to slide sideways, the pneumatic pods that make cars 'jump' on command, Kirk the painter who made Otto's a realistic fake gas station at the corner. I am TRULY impressed with the degree of perfectionism that went into the work.
When it gets to the theaters, I'll look forward to reading scene-by-scene accounts of who makes it into the final version, sure wish we all could be.
I've heard there might be another film coming to the Kittanning area. Mike, if you're part of that operation make sure to say 'hi', ok? Enough for now, Carl
