: : : : : : its a holiday and they're kids for christs sake... get the stick outta your asses and actually be a decent human being for once.
: : : : : : you were a kid too once in ur life before right?

: : : : : :: Times are different and so are the kids' attitude. All it takes is one kid's misbehavior to ruin it for others. It's a shame that people don't give like they use to. But many people are having it tough these days with the prices of everything going up.

: : : :
: : : : The population is getting older, people don't want to waste the time or money on kids who don't appreciate what they are given. Many will say "thank you" but the older ones usually don't. They act as if it is your duty to give them a treat because they appear at your door dressed.I can see why more and more people stop giving, it is no fun, the kids don't need the candy, they get enough everyday at home.I think door to door treating is going to be a thing of the past.

: : : My Trick or Treat night wasn't the greatest this year. I love Halloween and this year was my first in the bigger neighborhood where I moved to, so I was all ready at 6 to pass out the treats. The little kids were so sweet and dressed so nice but I was disgusted with the older kids too. Most of them didn't even have costumes on but wanted the candy just the same. They were too lazy to even have a treat bag. After a hour and half of this and the last straw was when I had a couple of girls come and knock and the one girl put her candy in her bra, no costume, no bag, just rammed the candy down her shirt, I thought that's it, I'm done for this year, I turned off my light and shut my door.. I was so disappointed with how things went

: :
: : I have rules when trick or treat comes. No costume no candy, teenagers no candy they only take away from the smaller kids They are the ones ruining halloween not the people.

: exactly.. when i was little and out for trick or treat i remember ppl saying no costume no candy to some older kids. i also remember a few sr. citizens seeming like they really enjoyed seeing some of the younger kids costumes and it looked like they were having a good time. there always might be a few teens out, but seroiously, do a few not so great kids really take that much away from all the others?

No one enjoys the younger kids coming dressed up more then me. I make movies of them and enjoy it as much or more then they do it makes me feel like a kid to. But when the bigger kids stand on the road and use the foul language they do in front of the smaller toddlers what can you do.you cant make them leave they are not in your yard,So you close the door and forget the whole thing.
