You would think that the "local" paper, the Leader Times, would be all over it. Not so. The Butler Eagle has outdone them in reporting the events. I have found more information on the movie in The Butler Eagle than the Leader Times. Compare Saturday's papers for just one example. Leader Times has a picture of the bridge with a sightseer taking photographs and a caption under the picture describing it. The Butler Eagle has almost 1 and 1/2 pages of stories on the filming with 7 pictures. This is not the first time I have noticed this. Has anyone else noticed the lack of coverage? I would think they would play it up to sell more papers.

IT DOES NOT SURPRISE ME IN THE LEAST BIT..THE LEADER TIMES RARELY COVERS LOCAL EVENTS....HOME TOWN HEROS....WE HAD A YOUNG MAN WIN THE FIRST EVER STATE WRESTLING TITLE FOR OUR TOWN A FEW YEARS BACK...I HAD TO CALL ON NUMEROUS OCCASSION TO BEG AND PLEAD TO THESE PEOPLE TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS ABSOLUTELY GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS....I THINK WE GOT A PARAGRAPH....THE TRIBUNE AND VALLEY HAD COLORED PICTURES...AND A HUGE ARTICLE.....
