I think contributor "me" hasn't seen EVERYTHING that has been posted on the message board and I'm glad of it. Some of it has been so bad that I couldn't keep the board up... or I wouldn't. Yes, some of it has been that bad.

Rules of thumb...

Judge not lest ye be judged.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Don't DO anything or SAY anything that would embarrass your family and friends, whether it's in newspaper headlines or not.

Have more people on your personal advisory board than your closest drinking buddies.

Have a personal advisory board!

btw, I am not the original author of either of the first two rules.

: : : I've been reading this board the past several weeks and I can't believe the insinuations, gossips, and name calling. While I don't know exactly who is being talked about, apparently others do. I could personally care less about what family does what with whom now or in the past or where they live etc. Obviously some people have too much time on their hands. And some friendly advice: You all should be very careful about how much gossip you post publicly on the internet. I do recall 2 times in the past where 1) the board was pulled for several weeks due to a potential lawsuit, and 2) IP addresses were posted by Carl to show that it is easier than you think to find individual posters & hand that over to a lawyer. In this day & age it wouldn't take much for lawyers to be hired & libel suits to be filed. Just my 2 cents.
