: : : I was lucky enough to have the day off from work and got to watch the space shuttle taking off. It was something to see. I was on pins and needles and saying a few prayers for them, with the history of past disasters. But it went off without a hitch. I know some of you will say, it's a waste of taxpayers dollars, but isn't it amazing that man can go into outer space like that. I enjoyed watching it.

: : I grew up in the 60s and I loved the space program and Neal Armstrong was one of my heros and as far as waisting tax money a lot of the technology we use today in our daily lives came out of the space program so I am favor of it.

: Hope all goes well, they said they have video of a couple things coming off the craft but said it may be nothing, they are going to investigate further.

I just read about that in the news, I hope all goes well too. They are saying with all the new cameras taking pictures this time, from all angles, they are seeing things, that they have never seen before. I hope they conclude with their investigation, that nothing is wrong, and this in normal. They also said if something was really wrong, they could send another shuttle up for a rescue mission. We all need to keep our fingers crossed, and say a little prayer for their safety.
