: : :
: : : I bought some fresh mushrooms at Foodland the other day, the box said Minnesota on it- why not Creekside? Don't we support our local businesses?

: : As a rule, most people don't.
: : Like you said, you bought them, right?
: : They were probably a couple cents cheaper than the Creekside ones.
: : We all need to start looking to see who makes the products we buy.

:
: They were the only ones in the produce section, I wasn't going to go through them all looking for Creekside. The only reason I looked was because the mushrooms I was buying every week or so, weren't that great for quality, some had brown spots on them and some had pieces of the compost they use on them. One week Foodland had cabbage about as big as a softball and much yellower than a softball.

I don't shop a lot at Foodland, so I can't say, but I know that Shop'n Save sells Creekside mushrooms. I believe that's the only brand I have ever seen there.
