I'm sorry that you didn't get to be in Friday's group of extras. The same thing happened to me but I'm MUCH MUCH too old to still be in school and I didn't have to drive half an hour. I can understand your mom being upset, and you two too.
I think that somebody didn't think ahead enough, and THAT'S why they didn't check who was going in through the door early. In a small town we're pretty honest, right? I think it's time to take a deep breath (I just did) and understand things aren't always perfect. If we expect a whole bunch and it doesn't happen, we're crushed... so let's be a little bit careful in what we expect from out-of-towners, OK? (Psst: In-towners can let us down too, we are better off the faster we get over it.)
How about if I dedicate some pictures to those who didn't get in... I think I can do that, hope the ones I took turn out ok.
