: : : : : : Did it seem like in his open letter in the paper he is afraid of Jim Solak, Rupp is the President of the school board, he should act like it, instead it seems he defers to Mr. Solak. I think the board worries too much about each other rather than issues, who cares if Solak wants the legislators to come, I think it would be good to hear from them and board, not just the board alone because we probably still wouldn't get a straight answer. I think the board is afraid of any voter referendum on taxes because they know what the answer would be.

: : : : : Exactly, they know that the vast majority of us want to opt in and as a result of opting in, they lose all (or at least a great deal) of thier power. I don't even see why this should be up to them. Why should we have to get thier okay to get these funds? Why should they ALONE get to vote to raise taxes without OUR okay in the first place? As far as I'm concerned this thing should have just been forced on the boards to begin with. It still should be if it is at all in Rendell's power.

: : : :
: : : : Rupp is just mad because inviting the lawmakers wasn't his idea. What is he so afraid of? He only surrounds himself with people that think he's intelligent. He thinks anyone that questions his almighty knowledge is either stupid or the enemy.

: : : Rupp and his cronies know that this might blow the top off of their master plan of hood-winking the public and making them accountable to the public.

: : : In my opinion, the letter sounded like somebody trying to defend himself? Defend himself from what? Guilty conscience, maybe?

: : : Hey, somebody keeps re-electing these people into office. Look at the West Hills project!!! They are building onto building and creating new building for what reason? The only thing going up are the taxes. New buildings with bells and whistles.

: : : This is one time I agree with Solak. Let's open this can of worms and see who begins squirming out of the can.

: :
: : Speaking of him, where has the Unknown been hiding? Or doesn't his ego let him see anyone's opinions but his own?

: I've watch Solak's little T.V. show. It's no wonder the school board wants to run Family Life out of business. He goes on there and exposes the boards lack of management skills. He has been against that West Hills project since day one. Although the initial construction will create a few jobs, it's hardly worth it to the taxpayers to build it. As Solak has stated, albiet probably not in these exact words, "Where is the wisdom in building new schools for a declining number of students?" All these people on the board want to do is create new cirriculum and add new buildings. This would be great if we had unlimited funds....oh that's right, they DO. All they have to do is add up the budget, then when it's discovered that they don't have enough money, they simply raise our property tax. Let's not forget, in order to vote these idiots out, SOMEONE has got to run against them. Please...SOMEBODY....ANYBODY!!

Someone is running against Rupp. It is a woman named Sherri Picola. I can't vote against Rupp but I can sure hope for a change!
