This information comes from Andrea Musher, the Extras Coordinator from Nancy Mosser Casting's office. She says to make sure to say "This is NOT a rumor."

First, nobody should "just show up" and hope to be in the movie and NOBODY should drive to downtown Kittanning unless they live there. The casting office will have a waiting area set up (maybe a shopping center) where out-of-towners can park and ride into town on busses. Andrea's office will make confirmation calls starting Monday to inform people where to park and other such details.
Ages: This will be a night-time shoot and they are expecting LONG and COLD nights. Younger than first grade and the very old are being asked to not participate - it will be quite an ordeal for them. Anyone from first grade up through 17 years old will have to have a parent sign a release for them to be in the picture. It's not a Child Labor Law form which is used for "paid" work, just a release to appear in the picture.
Clothes: They will talk to you on the phone about clothes. Logos are out, Pens and Steelers jackets are not ok, that type of thing. The phone call will have more detail.
A couple more pieces of information--people who receive their second call with specific information about where and when to arrive may call the Extras number (412-255-0145) for a new message about clothes, etc. The message will not include the arrival info.
And people who also applied earlier to Nancy Mosser's agency (which is totally separate from Andrea's office) may still be called for other paid extra positions. They haven't made all their selections yet.
