Tax or charge for School Supplies ??

I KNOW this will be a touchy proposal .. but it is just another way to shift tax burden closer to those who actually use the school system.

Not sure how possible this is in the free market arena .. but it would be interesting if there were a way to identify products that are mainly geared toward educational activities (textbooks, bookbags, lunchboxes, etc) .. the people buying more of these type items are more likely than not the people using more of the area's educational system resources as well.

Too specific or narrow focused ?? .. possibly .. just wanna get some ideas rolling.
