What you are saying is that either way, you are paying your share. I live in a simple house in Kittanning and am paying $2300 total in property tax. Divide that by 12...are you paying that much of your rent toward property tax? Why should I have to pay more than you to live in my own home. That is if you PAY rent. I noticed you are a strong advocate of section 8 housing, which MY taxes pay for, AND as YOU said, rent is adjusted to pay property tax. So in your case I guess I'm paying for both your rent and the property tax owed on the property.....

And yes I'm sure people abuse Section 8 BUT not eveyone abuses the system.But you tell me what goverment program is run without some form of abuse in it.
