: Whether they want to pay it or not, it's THIER share. Why should funding the school district be the sole responsibility of those who own property? If the landlords don't make the adjustments that is up to the renters to dispute. You hit the nail on the head, the people who own property ARE paying the taxes for those who don't!
Not everyone can afford to own their own house. So I guess punish them for that... And as a renter by paying rent, which the landlord has adjusted cause of the tax increases, I feel I pay my fair share..
