Students: Note how this was written. The first paragraph went right to the point - this is what the message is about.

Note the emphasis: "The message was NOT funny."

More: "Teachers SHOULD be responsible for what product they turn out..."

My personal take: I didn't graduate from KHS; I moved into Kittanning in 1997 and see a tremendous potential here. Students seem to be in two camps... those who are motivated to excel and those who are less so.

Every student CAN do better, starting with paying attention for a FEW more seconds each class, then focusing a few MORE seconds the next day, and the next...

Change is easy and hard at the same time. If you look at HUGE changes, they terrify and knock people down before they get well started; if you look at being just a little bit better EVERY DAY (or 2-3 times a week while you're getting started), there IS potential in all of us.

A last note: Typographical errors are hard to undo on a message board unless you're the webmaster... Annette, ummmmm... "veiw"? You did a great job of getting your message through, A+ anyway.
