: I wonder if sb3 will be thanking Mr. Bush if it ever becomes necessary to call up on the fire department or police and they cant respond, Propably the first to complain.

Take a look at the budget and look what he is proposing for our vets!!!

I 100% increase in co-payments for treatment at the VAs. I am sure we are going to hear from somebody on the board saying that "those vets just want everything for free All they want are handouts." But, the worst part is that he is doing this during a war!!! Unbelievable!!!

Here it is straight from an article from the Associated Press:

"WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 - President Bush's budget would more than double the co-payment charged to many veterans for prescription drugs and would require some to pay a new fee of $250 a year for the privilege of using government health care, administration officials said Sunday."

Prescription co-pays are being doubled, also.
A privilege fee for those who have served. How can anybody even defend his actons anymore.

Add ot all this, more huge tax cuts for the wealthiest 10 % percent in our country.

Let's get that patriotism flowing. Let's get some more catch phrases for us to cling to, so we can have our attention diverted as we continue a path to economic destruction. He is definitely spending his non-mandated political capital.

What a shame it is to see this occurring to our country?
