: Go to Fact Check.org, they state flatly, there is no crisis, this administration uses scare tactics as their main means to get a message across. Many people believe everything they hear, I hope enough strong voices in both parties can avoid this big mistake they are trying to push on the American public. Bush wants to change Social Security for his legacy, something to remember him by as if Iraq isn't enough. He thinks he can push American democracy on Iraq but the people don't want it, they thought their vote would help get Americans out of their country. We will have troops there for decades, Iran and Syria are next.

I would rather invest myself than have the government do it for me. Long term , the SS is going to run out. You leftist boneheads can blame Bush all you want but he did not create the demographics that are going to create a problem.
