There must have been over 1000 people in St. Mary's parish hall and it would have been way too much to ask. Richard had worked a 12 hour day with another 12 to go tomorrow.
He did talk to the crowd and then had kids 11 and under come down to the front. He talked to them for a little bit and allowed them to take pictures, also pictures of him and them. There was one time when his car was pulling away from filming that they stopped and he talked with residents from inside the car for a couple of minutes. Nice touch, doubt that many will get personal autographs though.
