I had an excellent job opportunity a few months back, but I could not take it because I cannot afford decent transportation to get there. It is time that something is done. Probably not in my lifetime. I saw on the news tonight that they want to raise min. wage to $7.15 an hour by 2007. I think it is a total joke. With the cost of living, gas, ect, by the time 2007 rolls around $7.15 will be a joke.

How about a renovation of our useless Million dollar park??? (ok, not quite a million, but you know what I mean.) I just thought of one, whatever happened to the plans for the doggy poopy park?? How much education do you have? Judging from your rant, not much. If you have just a hs diploma, then you are confined to "do you want fries with that" type of jobs. Don't blame the school system for your inability to progress up the economic ladder. More education will make you attractive in the job market.
