What we're talking about here is replacing one FREE FORUM with another that's more usable. There's more to this site than just this forum, and the only problem is the forum. Go to : kittanning.com and you'll see a walking tour, visitors notes, local ads, etc. All Carl needs to do is change the url for the message board from one to the other and all the problems are solved. That does not affect the rest of his site.

: : : : : : : : : It is a FREE Javascript and only a FREE Javascript. And internet whiz, I happen to hold a bacholer's degree in web development. If you were such a whiz, you'd understand when I state FREE that I mean in that is isn't your domain name, web server, etc. Read every word first. I am not going to go on and on in trying to state what is my own opinion to have you act asnine and better than thou B.S. My point is it is not on your own server or a paid web host nor do you have the database behind it meaning that that "vaild e-mail address" could go to spam companies, internet stalkers, hackers, and so on. There's nothing secure in using something that is free on a free server using a free domain name. It's not even MySQL so giving in to the registration process could be viewed by hackers. But being I am the smarter one, I will not spend the entire five years it would take to fully explain MySQL to you or what it even means nor will I go on about a free Javascript versus an entire free conforums.com crap either. For that matter, a forum is also available at http://www.bravenet.com as well......so, bite that. And there are thousands upon thousands of other free forums out there. However since I will only write nine tenths of anything in MySQL and .PHP whereas I am a database person, you could not pay me one dime to run any link to a free forum from any web site that sits on my servers, all 6 of them including my own serving my web sites. Bottom line, Javascript is as old as Noah's Arc and it sucks bigger than Monica ever did. I can agree. However there's no sense in paying for web hosting and a domain name to skip off to some off the wall, unknown FREE service whereas one can simply set the entire web site up into .PHP and link in a database and save the frustrations of dicking with crap. Ever hear of .PHP Nuke? It can be rewritten well to accomdate a forum and more with the ability to update, monitor, erase, etc. within minutes. But then again we won't explain that process either. : : : You really got some major attitude.. Time to get the bug out of your ass.. I say if you people don't like the other board don't use it.. But there are people out there that enjoy both.. And nobody is being rude to carl... WE have all said time and again that we enjoy this board..
